Keesha Sharp
Her appearance is also in Tyler Perry's cult film, Why Did I Get Married? Perry, Janet Jackson and the independent film Frozen Peas are all starring alongside her. Other film credits for her are The 636 (for which she received the award for Best Actress at the 2014 NYLA International Film Festival), Shattered! Never Die Alone, American Adobo, and American Adobo. Following her graduation from Cum Laude with a B.F.A. at the Conservatory, Keesha set her goals for the stage. She was a part of Carousel, the Broadway National Tour of Carousel, debuted Off-Broadway in Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and had eight characters in the comedy that is interactive Eat the Runt. Other theatrical performances are Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Keesha read along with playwright August Wilson himself. Keesha has also directed a number of scenes from "Lethal Weapon", Are We There Yet? and the three short films One Day, Lillian, and Half Off. Keesha is involved in several projects she's currently working on, which include Clean The Brit & Broken Doll. She is now working on her first full-length project following her smash record "Santa Baby."
